MKM CLAP Drop Point Bohler (LS01-GCT)

$524.99

The MKM Clap is an EDC gentleman’s knife, designed by Bob Terzuola. The knife is compact in terms of size, but has still been enhanced with a 7.8 cm blade. Combined with the use of stunning materials the MKM Clap is one of the most beautiful gentleman’s knives in our range.

Remarkable about the MKM Clap is that you open it with the flipper. Because of the ball bearings around the pivot it will open quickly. Looking for a knife that won’t open so fast? No worries, simply remove the flipper. After all, this knife comes with a torx key with a cover screw. As such the MKM Clap suddenly becomes a knife you open with two hands making it legal in many places in Europe.

The shape of the blade is breath-taking. A drop point shape with harpoon fin on the spine and a compound grind with fuller. Quite the mouth full, but in reality it is a combination of cool shapes and features you rarely see together. The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. This is a type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is incredibly wear-resistant. It is also very stainless. One of the most popular choices at the moment. When opened the blade is locked by a liner lock. Stunning details are the blue collar around the pivot, the blue back spacer and the blue pocket clip. Stunning.

This version has a handle made from Green Canvas Micarta with titanium bolsters.
